School Council had a busy time preparing for Getting Along Week. This is time in school when we all think about how we can be kind, respect each other and all get along well together. We organised lots of activities for everyone to take part in including decorating biscuits together and writing push ups and thoughtful words on our Kindness Wall. Each pupil had a secret friend in their class and they had to try and do at least three kind things for their friend during the week. It was great fun trying to guess who our secret friend was but also a good reminder of the importance of always being kind to others. School Council hope that everybody at Green Lane enjoyed Getting Along Week as much as we enjoyed organising and preparing it!
